The Interplanetary Defense Force (IDF) is an international, interplanetary and intercontinental space organization. In Le Conseil's Discord server, the IDF has served as a dominant faction whenever factions are ongoing in the server. It's the oldest and longest-existing faction in the server.

History

Origins

While the Interplanetary Defense Force was not founded until February 2021, its "predecessor" can be traced back in late 2020. The IDF was highly inspired by the Interplanetary Defense System, a cluster of severals "bases" and "satellites" floating between planets. The IDS offered a highly efficient "interplanetary defense" against any threats that may occur, most them consisting of aliens and space pirates.
