The Interplanetary Defense Force (IDF) is a space organization known for their high activity in Le Conseil's Discord Server and for possessing the ESDS. In Le Conseil's Discord server, it has also served as a dominant faction whenever factions are ongoing in the server. As of 2022, it is the oldest and longest-existing faction.

History

Origins

While the Interplanetary Defense Force was not founded until February 2021, its predecessor can be traced back in late 2020. The IDF's name was highly inspired by the Interplanetary Defense System, a cluster of severals bases and satellites floating between planets. The IDS offered a highly efficient interplanetary defense against any threats that may occur, most them consisting of aliens and space pirates. Some speculate that the IDF was originally the armed forces of the IDS, but this latter theory became less prominent once it was discovered that the creator of the IDS was Bubble, one of the main threats to the IDF.

Foundation

The exact foundation date of the IDF is unknown, but its earliest mention can be found on February 10, 2021. On that day, Lo mentionned in Le Conseil Discord Server 3 letters, IDF.
